TJ Maxx is opening a new store in the Rego Park area!!! Seeking customer focused, dedicated, diligent individuals for the following positions:
Sales/Merchandise Associate: Responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the store. Must be able to work in the areas of merchandise presentation, processing, markdowns, fitting room, cashier, customer service and layaway. Greets, interacts with and thanks customers on a regular basis. Maintains housekeeping standards of area, including ongoing recovery. Performs other duties, as assigned. Part-time or full-time.
Loss Prevention Agents: NYS Security License and 1 year related experience. Perform Loss Prevention responsibilities for the store in accordance with approved store and Company rules and procedures. Hours: FT/PT Responsibilities: * Observing shoppers and associates. * Creating and maintaining records of apprehensions, interviews, witnesses, evidence and disposition of recovered merchandise * Assisting in internal investigations. * Participating in court hearings. * Maintaining public order on the premises.
Assistant Managers: 1 year retail management experience required. Hire, train, supervise and motivate a team of 40+ full and part-time associates, ensure the proper processing and display of merchandise, Oversee and monitor shrink reduction plans, manage the daily activity of the sales floor, Develop creative plans to increase store sales
Coordinators/Key Holders: 1 year retail experience. Assist to hire, train, supervise and motivate a team of 40+ full and part-time associates. Assist in managing the daily activity of the sales floor. Open/Close Store as needed. Hours: FT/PT
Over- Night Merchandise Associates: Must be able to work in the areas of merchandise presentation, processing & markdowns, maintains housekeeping standards of area, including ongoing recovery. Performs other duties, as assigned. Part-time or full-time.
